1. PC 서버 설치 (Mac / Windows)
미니키보드는 PC 서버 프로그램과 폰 앱이 함께 동작합니다. PC에 서버를 먼저 설치하세요.
- 다운로드 페이지에서 MiniKeyboardServer-1.0.0.dmg를 받습니다.
- DMG를 더블클릭해 마운트한 뒤, MiniKeyboardServer 앱을 Applications 폴더로 드래그합니다.
- Launchpad 또는 Applications 폴더에서 앱을 실행합니다.
- 중요: 첫 실행 시 macOS가 손쉬운 사용 권한을 요청합니다.
시스템 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 손쉬운 사용 → MiniKeyboardServer 항목을 켜주세요. (이 권한이 없으면 키/마우스 제어가 동작하지 않습니다.)
- 자동 시작을 원하시면 시스템 설정 → 일반 → 로그인 항목에 추가하세요.
- 다운로드 페이지에서 MiniKeyboard 설치 파일을 받습니다.
- 인스톨러를 실행합니다. ("Windows에서 PC를 보호했습니다" 경고가 뜨면 추가 정보 → 실행을 누르세요.)
- 설치 완료 후 화면 우하단 시스템 트레이에 미니키보드 아이콘이 나타납니다.
- 트레이 아이콘을 우클릭하면 PIN과 IP를 확인할 수 있습니다.
💡 첫 실행 시: 서버 콘솔(Mac) 또는 트레이(Windows)에 6자리 PIN이 표시됩니다. 폰 앱에서 'Find Nearby Computers'를 누르면 PIN까지 자동으로 채워집니다.
2. 앱 연결하기
스마트폰과 PC가 같은 와이파이(Wi-Fi)에 연결되어 있어야 합니다.
- 앱 오른쪽 상단의 설정(⚙️) 아이콘을 누르세요.
- 'Find Nearby Computers' 버튼을 누르면 주변 PC를 자동으로 찾습니다.
- 자동 검색이 안 된다면? 'Manual Input'에 IP 주소를 직접 입력하세요.
- 중요: 연결할 컴퓨터가 Mac인지 Windows인지 꼭 선택해주세요! (단축키가 달라집니다.)
🔍 자동 검색이 안 될 때 — 수동 입력 가이드
회사·학교 와이파이, VPN 사용 중, 또는 일부 메시 네트워크 환경에서는 자동 검색이 안 될 수 있어요. 수동으로 30초면 연결됩니다.
① PC에서 IP·PIN 확인하기
- Mac: 화면 우측 상단 메뉴바의
⌨ (키보드 아이콘) 클릭 → Mac IP와 PIN이 표시됩니다.
- Windows: 작업 표시줄 우측 알림 영역의 미니키보드 아이콘 클릭 → IP와 PIN이 표시됩니다.
② iPhone에서 수동 입력
- iPhone 미니키보드 앱 → 설정(⚙️) → 'Add Computer'
- 'Manual Input' 영역에 입력:

- IP Address: 메뉴바에서 본 IP (예:
192.168.0.107)
- PIN: 메뉴바에서 본 6자리 숫자
- Mac / Windows 선택 후 저장 → 즉시 연결됩니다.
💡 한 번 수동 등록하면 다음부터는 자동으로 연결되므로 이 과정은 처음 한 번만 하면 돼요.
💡 자동 검색은 가정용 단일 공유기 환경에서는 99% 작동합니다. 회사·학교 등 큰 네트워크에서 안 잡힌다면 위 방법이 가장 빠른 길입니다.
3. 트랙패드 제스처
화면 중앙의 TOUCHPAD 영역을 노트북 트랙패드처럼 사용하세요.

4. 세 가지 모드
누워서 영상 볼 때 최고입니다. 쇼츠(Shorts) 넘기기, 10초 되감기, 볼륨 조절이 가능합니다.
복사, 붙여넣기, 저장 등 자주 쓰는 단축키가 모여 있습니다.
하단의 입력창에 글을 쓰고 전송하면 PC에 입력됩니다. 긴 카톡 보낼 때 유용해요!
내 입맛대로 버튼을 배치하세요. 버튼을 길게 눌러서(Long Press) 위치를 바꾸거나 삭제할 수 있습니다.
'Batch Add' 버튼을 누르면 추천 단축키를 한 번에 채워줍니다.
5. 가로 모드 (Landscape)
스마트폰을 가로로 돌려보세요!
- 화면 전체가 거대한 트랙패드로 변신합니다.
- 엄지손가락 위치에 볼륨 조절 버튼이 생겨서, 영상을 보며 소리 조절하기 딱 좋습니다.
1. Server Installation (Mac / Windows)
Mini Keyboard works with a PC server program plus the phone app. Install the server first.
- Download MiniKeyboardServer-1.0.0.dmg from the downloads page.
- Double-click the DMG to mount, then drag MiniKeyboardServer.app to the Applications folder.
- Open the app from Launchpad or Applications.
- Important: On first launch macOS asks for Accessibility permission.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → enable MiniKeyboardServer. (Without this, keyboard/mouse control won't work.)
- For auto-start at login, add it to System Settings → General → Login Items.
- Download the MiniKeyboard installer from the downloads page.
- Run the installer. (If "Windows protected your PC" appears, click More info → Run anyway.)
- After installation, look for the Mini Keyboard icon in the system tray (bottom-right).
- Right-click the tray icon to view the PIN and IP.
💡 On first launch: A 6-digit PIN appears in the server console (Mac) or tray (Windows). Tap 'Find Nearby Computers' in the phone app — IP and PIN are filled in automatically.
2. Connecting the App
Your smartphone and PC must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Tap the Settings (⚙️) icon at the top right of the app.
- Tap 'Find Nearby Computers' to automatically search for your PC.
- If auto-search fails, enter the IP address manually in 'Manual Input'.
- Important: Make sure to select Mac or Windows correctly! (Shortcuts vary by OS.)
🔍 Auto-Search Not Working? — Manual Setup Guide
Auto-search may fail on corporate/school Wi-Fi, while using a VPN, or in some mesh network setups. Manual setup takes only 30 seconds.
① Find IP & PIN on Your PC
- Mac: Click the
⌨ (keyboard icon) in the top-right menu bar → Mac IP and PIN will be displayed.
- Windows: Click the Mini Keyboard icon in the system tray (bottom-right notification area) → IP and PIN will be displayed.
② Enter Manually on iPhone
- Mini Keyboard app → Settings (⚙️) → 'Add Computer'
- In the 'Manual Input' section, enter:
- Name: Any nickname (e.g.,
Living Room Mac mini)
- IP Address: The IP shown in the menu bar (e.g.,
192.168.0.107)
- PIN: The 6-digit number shown in the menu bar
- Select Mac / Windows, then save → Connection will be established immediately.
💡 Once registered manually, the app will auto-connect from next time. You only need to do this once.
💡 Auto-search works 99% of the time in standard home router environments. On larger networks (offices, schools), the manual method above is the fastest path.
3. Trackpad Gestures
Use the central TOUCHPAD area just like a laptop trackpad.

💡 Tip: Scrolling in the wrong direction? Turn on 'Invert Scroll' in the [Trackpad] settings tab.
4. Three Modes
Perfect for watching videos lying down. Navigate Shorts, rewind 10s, and control volume easily.
Essential shortcuts like Copy, Paste, and Save are all here.
Type in the Input Box at the bottom to send text to your PC. Great for long messages!
Arrange buttons your way. Long Press a button to move or delete it.
Use 'Batch Add' to fill empty slots with recommended shortcuts instantly.
5. Landscape Mode
Rotate your smartphone sideways!
- The entire screen transforms into a huge trackpad.
- Volume buttons appear near your thumb, making it perfect for controlling sound while watching videos.
